Superb Audax London "Aquaprufe"Gentleman's Manual Wind Watch - ETA 1080 Movement

Audax Watch Company produced watches from the 1930s until the 1970s. They could be found in retailers such as W.J. Huber LTD, 88-90 Hatton Garden London. The watches were Swiss Made, of a good quality, with movements from makers such as Venus.
This is a superb 34mmx42mm gold plated watch circu 1965 with an ETA 1080 movement, just about as good as it got at the time. It has a most attractive, and perfect champagne dial, which has indented gold batons and matching hands.
The movement runs sweetly, and keeps time - We have fitted one of our lizzard grain straps.
